Reversed the MC/CC plan and used the gradient set as my MC with the solid skeins as my CC’s. It reduces the number of ends and I think gives the gradient a bit more of a chance to stand out. Work the gradient from light to dark.
For the center V used all of the first gradient color, and had 4.6g left of the second gradient color at the end of the V.
For the first part of the left side, used half of the remaining second gradient color - 4 rows, leaving me 2g for the right side.
Continued with the 3rd color, starting with 35.2g. 21.8g left at the end of the first left side MC section.
Next MC section - did 4 rows and had 19g left so stopped to leave the 19g for the right side (approximately half the skein).
Continued in that section with the 4th color, starting with 35g. Had 24.7g left at the end of this MC section.
Continued in the next MC section with the 4th color, had 20g left at the end 6 rows, changed to the fifth color.
Started the 5th color with 35g and had 27.6g left at the end of the section.
Completed the next MC section in full with the fifth color, ending with 19.7g, just slightly over half the skein - set it aside for the right side.
Accidentally did 5 repeats of the CC5 section, need to mirror for the right side, have plenty of yarn for it.
Next MC section started with 35g of the 6th color. Had 28.9g left at the end of that section.
Finally started the second skein of the MC (being used as the CCs) in the CC6 section of the left side - at the end of row 5 of the second repeat. Leaves me practically a full skein for the right side.
Last left side MC section was done completely with the 6th color, along with the bind off. Had more than half the skein left for the right side.

Started the right side today. In the first MC section used the remaining bit of CC2 which ran out 22 stitches shy of the 3rd row. Continued with CC3.

Finished the first MC section with CC3, started the second right side MC section with CC3, got 7 rows done before running out and moving to CC4.

Finished the second MC section with CC4, plenty to go for the next section.
Ran out of CC4 after 13 rows of the third MC section. Finished it with CC5.
Made it through the second repeat of the first CC section on the right side. Heading into the home stretch and it currently looks like it will use almost exactly the amount of yarn I started with!

9g of CC5 left at the end of the next MC section. Since I did the last two MC sections with CC6 on the left side, I cut CC5 and will move to CC6 next.
Mirroring the left side, did 5 repeats of the CC5 section.

Finished as planned with CC6 and the last MC section.
Remaining CC6 - 11g
Remaining MC - 30g
