Had a few minutes left in my knitting time after finishing my last pair of socks, so quickly started this one.

Cast on over 2 needles, using German twisted cast on.

Finished the cuff of sock one.

Working on the legs - the instructions are rough at best. The charts are correct, the written instructions are a mess. There is a cadence to the pattern so once you memorize it, no chart or instructions are needed. I’m shocked I was able to make these as a new knitter - my guess is that I didn’t realize how rough the instructions are.

I’m not sure why I pushed myself through this project so far along given that I clearly didn’t enjoy working it. The pattern was just meh both in looks and in how it’s written. The yarn is far too pretty to waste on socks I won’t like to wear.

Even though I was done with both cuffs, legs, heels, and a partial foot, I made the decision to frog, and I couldn’t be more relieved.

Now I have a perfectly caked skein ready to go for a different project.
