Cast on, there was a choice to be made at the beginning - no impact to the overall finished product, just an option on techniques. Went with the Chevron option vs. the Lace option. The stark lines felt more Red-Tailed Hawk to me.

Also learned that the Old Norwegian Cast On is the same things as the German Twisted Cast On which I use all the time, so no need to learn a new cast on!

Clue one complete!

Finished clue 4.

Clues 1&2 were exactly the same as clues 3&4 except the increase/decreases were reversed. The whole piece will come together without grafting, sewing or seaming, so the shape is still a bit of a mystery.

Clue 5 complete. So far, I have more yardage left in each of the used minis than I would prefer, will weigh things out after the last clue, but I think this could have been done with 20g minis.

Off the needles! Needs to be blocked to shape, and to size, but I love the way the colors worked and the order that I chose to put them in. I think it worked best for my style and preferences. Hoping to get her on the blocking mats tomorrow. Still need to update yarn usage - had tons of leftovers in every color. Some folks are making hats to match, will have to stalk some project pages for inspiration.
