I’m sizing this up a bit since my gauge was off and I want a larger size - approximately 24 mo.

Gauge with US 9: 17 sts = 4”

CO 34. Before dividing for sleeves, repeated rows 2 and 13 eight times more (instead of 4) for 152 sts. Was 5.5” at that point so I divided for sleeves without additional rows after the increasing.

Splitting for body: placed 34 sts (between markers) on holders for sleeves. I had 85 sts in the body. (I think I gained an extra somewhere - oh well.)

Knit body length of 7” from underarm before starting garter rows.

Knit arm length of 8.5” from underarm before starting garter rows. (36 rows) Decreased by 10 stitches total; 2 sts decreased on rows 2, 10, 18, 26, and 34.

Used EZ sewn bind off, which was perfect.

I love how it turned out. Two skeins was just barely enough for the sweater, a hat, and slippers. I only spent a couple weeks working on it and put it down for months in between.
