Pictures don’t do justice to the beautiful icy blue shade of the fjord heather.

Gauge swatch machine washed, tumble dried: 18 sts = 4 inches in stockinette.

I thought the numbers in the pattern were all messed up, and then I discovered I just couldn’t read and had missed the lines about adding stitches after the yoke for diaper space. Riiiip! The fault was mine; the notes were clear.

Contrasting color inside the pockets (after one additional row of MC, as the garter outsides pull down and I didn’t want too much peek-a-booing).

I thought the undershirt was getting long and decided I wanted to end on the contrast color anyway, so I eliminated one garter ridge of MC. Sleeves to match.

Used about 1 yard shy of two skeins MC. Phew!
Would have run out if I’d knit it as written, with MC inside pockets and one more stripe of MC in undershirt body and sleeves.
