Reversed colors for intarsia flowers and added two ribbed stripes in CCs on sleeves. (Knit one round, purled two.)

Ho boy. I shifted to US6 on sleeve #1 to get gauge, but only noted it here, not on my pattern. A month later, I picked up my pattern and knit sleeve #2 and the first 11 inches of the body (including joining the sleeves) with US7.

Now that I look closely, one sleeve does look tighter. Thankfully, the lengths measure the same, so I’m not going back. Most of the sweater knit with US7. This kid isn’t stopping growing so I knit each night as I will his little body to stay the same size. ;) I have already frogged and reknit the second sleeve about 4 times for 4 different stupid reasons. The lesson here is to write everything ON THE PATTERN and do not knit when annoyed. Still, it’s looking adorable.

Lots of compliments on this one as I work on it in public. The sleeves are pretty striking. I like how it turned out.
