Very loosely based on the credited pattern, from which I took inspiration.
Cast on 82 stitches, worked 6 rows of 2X2 ribbing in black. changed to green and worked 4 rows of stocking stitch. Used an image from Google for the Creeper, knit over 24 stitches and 24 rows.followed by 4 rows of green then alternating stripes of 12 rows. Starting on the third row above the creeper I decreased 8 stitches evenly across the row and did this every 12th row until I was down to 10 stitches. Tied it off and added a honking big pompom. I hope he loves it.
