My friend didn’t know if their baby would be a boy or girl, and I thought this colourful yarn would be cute & fun for either.Then I broke my finger, so set it aside for a Long time….meanwhile they had a boy! :)
When I finally took up the needles again, I needed an easy project….
so decided to go with a variation of an easy baby blocks pattern; I did seed stitch borders and alternated knit/ purled baby blocks until reaching a size I liked (15 X 12 2” baby blocks + 2” borders = 34”X 28”)

Cast on 170, seed stitch 15 rows; ss10,(k10,p10)X15,ss10 - alternating/reversing as needed, X15 rows per set of blocks; ss 15 rows; binding off on last row.
