MODS as follows:
Worked in multicoloured for 11.5cm. Worked one round black (change colour under foot), one multi, two black, one multi, three black, one multi, four black, one multi, five black, one multi. Remainder of sock worked in black.

Worked to 5.75mm (2 1/4”) shy of foot length before commencing gusset. NB: 2” would be a better fit.

Heel turn worked in k1,sl1 rather than k8, k10 etc on RS rows.

Worked an additional 4cm before working a 2x2 rib for 10 rounds. Plain bind-off with a 3.00mm needle.
