Three skeins of Doulton yarn have made four Doulton Hats, one large, one medium and two small. This is the last, the brim uses the deep and the light greys as sold, the colours on the body of the hat came from plants - a pink lichen overdyed with yellow from chamomile on white yarn and light grey. This yarn is easy to work with, smooth and comfortable to wear and it takes up dye beautifully. The pattern is also very straightforward to knit, not nearly as complicated as the result appears.
