I had made this hat for my Dad years ago when I was just a teenager (13 or 14, perhaps). He loved it! He wore it all the time - even to be every night! He couldn’t sleep without his hat.

Several weeks ago, he lost his beloved hat and wasn’t able to find it anywhere. No other hat was the same. He was in desperate need of a replacement! Fortunately, for him, Mom called and told me about it!

So I made a replacement hat, using the same pattern and as close to the same yarn as possible! He loves his new hat just as much as the old one!
