26/4/13 - Final thoughts:

• I used almost the entire 2 skeins of Yowsa.
• So glad I left out the pockets, I would never have used them anyway.
• I’m also endlessly happy that I ripped back and added length to the body! The final measurement after blocking from the armpits is 15 inches.
• And the sleeves are the perfect length, they hit about inch past my wrist.
• I did not do all the short rows for the collar, I think I stopped at 7.
• I sewed on a button on the inside of the right shoulder at the front raglan line to help the cowl stay in place and drape better.

12/3/13 - ordered buttons from etsy today. They’re coming from Toronto so hopefully won’t take too long. Finished the knitting, need to block this weekend.

11/3/13 - sleeves finished.

MOD: I did 6 decreases and then 10 rounds before the seed st hem, that gave me a 20in sleeve which is plenty for me.

Ripped back the hem on the body, I’m adding a few inches of length.

29/1/13 - Done the collar, onto the first sleeve.

28/1/13 - Wish I had looked up how to pick up wraps on the purl side from the very beginning. Sheesh! So easy and so much cleaner looking than the way I was doing it. Here is the video link I used.

14/12/12 - bound off body, 12 inches. I’m hoping it will block a bit longer, in fact I’m sure it will grow a bit. On to the collar.

13/12/12 - started 2nd ball tonight. I’m almost done the body, another few inches to go.

8/12/12 - so this is on hold while I work on a few christmas things but I will bring to BC with me when we go on holidays. Who knows, I may even get it done before the year ends…

30/11/12 - decided not to do the pockets. I’ll knit until the body is 12in and then do the edging.

28/11/12 - have separated for the sleeves now and am lost in the stockinette body. I’ve been spoiled knitting so many recent projects in the round, the purl rows are so slow! Good zen knitting though…

24/11/12 - knit knit knit… Almost at the point of separating for the sleeves… Tomorrow maybe?

23/11/12 - used the crochet provisional cast on. Getting super close to gauge. I hope it doesn’t grow when I block it.

22/11/12 - bought the pattern today. I think I may cast on for this this weekend… I’ll use the Wowza What a Skein in Ghoulish… I was thinking brushed pewter or brass buttons… a bit of old school/steam punk to go with the bright green…

I really like the look of this…
