27/4/12 - Finished 2 pairs, will send to Pat today. Decided that it doesn’t make sense to mess with the pattern. I’m not smarter than the pattern… thank goodness baby socks are so easy and cute!

26/4/12 - just some notes…

• knit the cuff for 25 rounds
• changed the heel short rows a bit, did the k11 yada yada but on the first purl back row I p5, p2tog, p1, turn, carry on with instructions for heel… that gave me the 12 stitches I was supposed to have.

25/4/12 - ok one pair finished, I did the first one according to the pattern instructions. The second one I did the mods I posted above. The first sock is a bit smaller in the foot length wise than the second. So now I get to knit one of each again so I can have 2 pairs that match! That’s what I get for messing with the pattern…

23/4/12 - I’ll see if I can whip up 2 pairs for Pat and Operation Baby Shower… very cute these little socks…
