23/3/12 - I’ve made all kinds of mods with this chart. I’m sure the palm pattern is supposed to be arrows but the downward pointing one looks enough like an upside down cross that I was uncomfortable using it. I’m not sure who my swap partner is and the last thing I’d ever want is to offend someone in our lovely group. So I made them into little flowers…

I think I’ll add some pink duplicate stitching to this as well in the hearts and the flowers…

And I did two rows of the hedgehogs at the top of the mitten before the ribbing.

I decreased the ribbing at the top by 8 stitches and did 6 rounds before casting off.

I didn’t add any colour to the thumb, I knit in the main colour only. I also decreased by 4 in the first round after picking up. I knit 5 rounds then did 6 rounds of ribbing before casting off.

21/3/12 - cast on 60, knit 2x2 ribbing for 1in, knit one round increasing every 5 sts. Staring chart… I think I’ll do some duplicate stitching instead of intarsia with the cream.

19/3/12 - ok I bought the pattern and I have yarn in the stash that would work perfectly. I’m thinking fingerless mittens…
