Continuing the hexagon theme, I wanted to play around with connecting motifs so that they could be easily created on the move but ultimately become part of something bigger- more than a sum of its parts.

This centrepiece was the working prototype for another design. I had just finished using the yarn for another project, and was surprised how well it went together. And even more amazed to see that the coral colour, which in itself looks so bright, was so similar to the colourful geranium in the garden behind it. Trust nature to get it just right!

I’ve not yet decided what to use this piece for, I’ll know when I know
