Signed up for the Third Annual Shaker Museum Knit-a-Long: Lessons from a peculiar hat via Zoom.

Made it with no pompon nor ear flaps.

The pattern was written to replicate the artifact in the museum, which I had no desire to do.

The pattern writer is a museum employee who knits but is apparently not an experienced pattern writer, the errata could be many paragraphs so I will not attempt it.

The button and brim and ear flaps require crochet at which I suck. It came out to fit Hagrid. I will donate it for the homeless and attend the remaining Zoom meetings to see what others thought. I saw Jane Kivlin at the Greater Milwaukee Knitting Guild meeting and she also was less than thrilled.
