Notes

Used Cat Bordhi’s toe from Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters increased to 60 stitches then switched to You’re Putting Me On gusset and heel and cuff. Stitch pattern is based on Coriolis Sock spiral but it spirals over a K2 P2 background. In order to emphasize texture above the color pattern the spiral trails increasing triangles of reverse stockinette that shift toward the spiral by eight stitches every so often. Planning knee socks if I don’t run out of yarn. I used the start of each ball as contrast color in another pair of socks. Have gradually increased up cuff to 64 stitches to accommodate calf and pondered increasing to K2 P2 K2 P3 pattern if needed. Did that, ran out of yarn and finished knee socks with leftover yarn from other projects. Decreased back to 64 sts k2p2 for the top but they still don’t stay up, considering attached garter strips.
