Ok, this did not turn out to be a capelet - more an extremely comfortable wrap around shawl! This is not the fault of the design, I just didn’t take the time to play with the tension at the beginning (was in a rush and could see that it was going to work out fine for what I wanted anyway…)
I am very happy with the result though - I just wanted something quick to make, appropriate for a funeral, and that would keep my shoulders warm. Perfect.
If I was to do it again I would play with the hook size and probably start with many less stitches. c:
