Notes

Test for DOC 1.0.
I am doing the mixed color version -
Starting out I am using shades of blue because I want it to look like an All Seeing Eye in the center. I will go wild with colors as I get out past this section.

Gauge: 7” at Rnd 7.

9/22: up to R10. No problems so far.
9/23: Did R11 and wasn’t sure if I started it too far back from the fpdtr. It said to join in next st.

9/28: I was stalled because I needed more yarn colors. Today I did R12-16 but had to rip out back to R14 because I failed to notice R14 called for fptrtr and not fpdtr. gotta pay attention!

Finished R18 finally.
9/29 (morning): did 2 more rows before breakfast. Now through with R20, and hopefully all those hdcs for a while! At this point it measures 16.5 inches.

10/1: Finished Rnd 25 this morning.
10/5: Finished Rnd 33. (Rnd 31-33 are in Pumpkin). Had to return the skein because it was full of knots, which is unusual for Caron, and I had just commented on how Caron, unlike other brands, never has knots! I was so angry I threw the skein across the room. Then I felt sorry for the skein. Took it back and also took back the bamboo handled Susan Bates hook I had just bought, and got a Clover Amour instead - wow, what a difference high quality makes. I never intended to spend that much on a hook, especially when I have tons of them in storage, but it’s worth it.

10/6: Finished Rnd 34 - Autumn Red. I wanted to use Neon Pink but the DH said it would not go well. He’s an artist so I defer to his color sense.

10/11/14: Finished part 1. (Rnd 39)
10/12/14: Finished Rnd 42

10/19/14 : Finished Rnd 50

11/7/14 - Had to stop for a while due to illness, and also made a mistake on Rnd 53, had too many stitches on the last part. finally decided to rip out to Rnd 52 and re-do. Today I finished Rnd 54. These Rnds are a little tricky to follow.

Stuck with the pattern after test was canceled. Finally finished after a long break.
