4th shawl of my heart collection ♥

Luz is the Portuguese word for Light.

I like the idea of having an attractive center section sided by lace that flows from center and borders to the edging, resembling some shy rays of light, that eventually will find their own place.

Instead of straight lines I attempted motifs resembling flowers. I’ve been enjoying the creative process of changing patterns stitches until they incorporate my initial concept.

Finished with a crocheted BO.

Gauge: 23 sts in Stockinette st using 3.25 mm (US 3) needles (unblocked)

Measurements

• before blocking: 131 wide by 53 cm long
• after blocking: 142 wide by 55 long (yes, I was gentle this time).

I’m currently writing the pattern. Hopefully it will be tested very soon and released in the middle of October.
