First shawl design of 2011.

It seems that this yellow skein is damned, working only for sampling.

I’ve re-knitted the all thing - changed the pattern st and found out an easy way of making the nupps.
I’m very excited about finally working with Malabrigo.

Add Note: The amount of time to wind this yarn was ridiculous it was all tangled, what a mess… Malabrigo should now better, specially after so many complaints!

03.02 - This project has been hibernating for too long, I really have to conclude it.

10.02 - I’m on the 8th pattern repeat and I think there isn’t enough yarn for 10 repeats more transition rows plus scallop edge like I initially planned. Nupps really ate all the yarn! They are cute, tough…

12.02 - I’ve finish the 8th pattern repeat and started working transitions rows and then edging, this is not going to be big but I always block shawls vigorously and feel confident about ending with a pretty cool shawlette.

13.03 - Pre-blocked size - 103 cm wide by 42 cm long. The blocked size (as a hearted shape shawl) is 132 cm wide by 58 cm long. Weather isn’t warm so this will take some time to dry.
Pattern st is really easy and fast to knit, on the other end nupps consume a bit of time but it’s worth it, I’m very pleased with the final result. I’m looking forward to wear it :-)

18.02 - I’m getting really frustrated with weather, always raining, I’ll take better pictures when possible.
I’ve posted a request to test at Free pattern testers.

19.02 - Pattern is currently being test knitted.

12.03 - Pattern has been released.
