This project went very smoothly. It was fun changing from one pattern stitch to another without much fuss. Stockinette part ended fairly quickly and then the fun started with the slip stitch section. The color changes and the pattern rhythmic provided interest keeping me entertained and excited while seeing the pattern stitch emerging.
I like stripes, especially when worked in an unusual way - the mirrored pattern meets my intention of creating unusual and elegant lines.
A beautiful lace pattern embellished with beads has been added for the edging, creating an interesting effect due the opposite nature of the stitches employed.
Shawl blocked it beautifully and I really want to take outdoors pictures. Now, sun where are you?

Shawl measurements
Before blocking: 108 cm wide by 51.5 cm long
After blocking: 136 cm wide by 61 cm long
It also took a 3.5 mm (US E 4) crochet hook, 2 markers; waste yarn; tapestry needle; pins for blocking, tool for beads (I used a crochet hook size 0.6 mm (14) and about 184 beads suitable for lace yarn.
