Using an inexpensive wool blend. I love the original color, but it has been discontinued and no one has it. To get the lightweight lofty feeling, I stayed away from 100% wools. May do this at some point in the future with a heavy worsted/Aran and silk mohair held together.

The pattern is easy and intuitive. But keeping the stitches even across the k-p transitions, and the along the i-cord edge has been a challenge. I use a crochet hook every once in a while to tighten them up and distribute the slack across the row.

Added an extra chart repeat. Did 30 full sections of 16 rows each. I knew it would stretch and as the gift receiver wanted it long, I let it stretch a bit after a soak. I only hand blocked it so it isn’t perfect but I needed to get it dry before I travel.

Finished measurements are 18 x 99”
