Notes

I’ve been moving my household across the country so I’ve not had time to do any yarny things. This is just something I started because I grabbed this particular yarn out of the top most stash bin. I didn’t even look. It just felt so squishy.

30 sts/10 cm on 3.25 needles; so 7.5 sts/inch.

sock recipient’s ball circumference is 8.5” or 64 sts (63.75). 10% of 64 rounded down is 58. Because of my tension, I chose to round up to 60 sts for my number divisible by 4.

CO 64 sts.
Knit 19 rounds of 2x2 rib (because of the stripes)
Knit 32 rounds (because that is the desired height from the sock recipient and the stripe ended there).

Knit 23 rows of heel flap.
Pick up 13 stitches along sides of heel
(11 and 2 additional to close any gap)
Once gusset is complete and decreases to 60sts,
Knit 36 rounds before toe decreases.

Finished sock one. Started sock two.
