So I love this yarn and it is perfect with this pattern. Because the yarn is a tube, the join I did doesn’t even appear noticeable. One ball got me through my long tail cast-on, 3 rows of garter stitch (p, k, p), and three full pattern repeats with almost enough to do row 1 of pattern repeat #4. I will end up with 6 full repeats before echoing the border and doing a stretchy cast off.

This was a fun and easy knit! Though the bind off took for-ever. I chose a sewn bind off to mimic the long-tail cast on edge and to keep it stretchy. It really paid off. I like the look of the fabric as is, so I will likely not block it.
