Because my daughter is on the small side of the 6-8 sizing, I used smaller needles than the instruction called for. (Size 8 and 5 needles used instead of the size 9 & 6).

To compensate for the smaller needles, on the sleeves I am decreasing every 6th row instead of every 5 rows.

Fits Emily perfectly with just the right amount of growing room.
