Made for a family fundraising event, and my very talented cousin won the set! Apparently they kept his hands nice and warm while rocking out all night. :)

Modified to match my Helix Hat. Really pleased with the pattern and how these turned out.

Notes for second mitt:

2 inches of ribbing - 14 rows.
Increased 1 st in 1st row of stockinette to 33 sts total.
Doing helix knitting for the stockinette section.
After 3 rounds plus colour on needles, start thumbs on black.
Started thumb increases 5 sts into first needle of row.
Did 2 more increases before separating thumb stitches (on a grey row).
Ignored decrease rows, but did row 12 decreases centred over the thumb on next grey yarn row after separating thumb.
K2tog on the second last row at beginning of needle 3 (decrease hidden in a black row) before starting ribbing.
K one row around in grey to set ribbing.
Shift beginning of row to start of needle 3 to start ribbing lower down at pinky finger of hand.
1x1 ribbing for 4 rows.
Use 4 mm needles for thumb to make sure it’s snug.
