This yarn and pattern were made for each other. I wish I would have used a size 9 needle, but I think I should be able to block it to size. I absolutely love how this is turning out.

I knit this a bit tight on size 8’s, but I was able to get it to the correct size after heavy blocking. The Flax Down has a slightly rustic texture and is incredibly soft. I did make a few mistakes and they blurred over quite nicely.

I would love to make this again with the same dreamy yarn in Heirloom White using size 9 needles. I would cast on 10 more stitches or so and add a few rows to each broken rib and stockinette section in order to make it a little bigger without adding additional stockinette/broken rib sections. I would like it a little oversized while keeping the balance of the original design.
