CO 56. Knit 20 rnds of p1, k3 rib for cuff. Knit cuff and 12 repeats of leg pattern on 2.50 mm needles.

Heels on size 2.25 needles. Slip first purl tovinstep, then knit first row over 29 sts and purl 1 row. Then sl1, k1, sl1, p1 for rs and sl1, work as presented for ws. Heel flap for 20 slipped sts including needle. Square heel 9-9-9.

Decreased to 58 sts for foot.

After 16 repeats from heel did 5 plain rnds, then 1 dec + 2 plain rnds 3x, then 1 dec + 1 plain rnd 5x, then 1 final dec rnd. Kitchener 22 sts.
