After charting the back panel and then the left and right panels-at least for size 2-3-two different patterns for the third texture emerge. You need to choose between the two and adjust either the back or the front panels so they all come out the same way. Really, it doesn’t matter which you choose as it’s personal preference. And if you go through the pictures even on the front page for this pattern and look closely, you’ll see that there is a slightly different pattern among various fronts. I don’t know which one is supposed to be the real pattern.

The difference is where the column of reverse stockinette is. In b it is just before the column of stockinette when reading right to left. In a the column is in the middle the three stitches that make up everything that is not the stockinette column.

Mine will be texture b

I finally thought to look at the picture in the pdf. It appears that texture a is the texture called for in the pattern.
