This pattern is worked from the bottom up. This pattern uses the super star stitch. The first row of your project defines the width of your scarf. Gauge is unimportant as it will vary for different yarns and also depends on the number of stitches used. The scarf ‘slides’ diagonally every few rows, with one ‘flat’ edge and one ‘increasing edge’, though the number of stitches remain constant from the first row.
