Notes

This was a pretty good pattern, however there were a few areas that didn’t match up.

Row 8 had to me, a few extra steps. After the asterisks’s, I had to rewrite to: FPtr in next 5 sts, dc in top of beg ch3, turn.

When I reached rows 14-20, I just followed the pattern the fabric was developing, I did not follow rows 2-8 over.

I made this for Nerd Wars 2013 to fill the Encyclopedia challenge: Maps. I feel it is reminiscent of some topographic maps I have seen of Mt. Everest. It fits my team (team Equestria) because it is red just the the Apple Family farm in Ponyville and is thus a good landmark to map. It also fits the idea of Equestria because Canterlot is on the side of a mountain and Ponyville is in a valley.
