Notes

Using the brim of the Droplet Hat from Norah Gaughan, the number chart (modified the equals sign, the 1 numerals, and added ellipse) from Math Geek Hat, and using the top of the Ode to Pi Toque.

Did a gauge swatch and cast on 100 stitches. Using a size 3 needle because I’m an insanely loose knitter, and because it’s what I grabbed first. :)

holding the pale grey yarn in front/left/dominant, the green yarn in back. Trying hard to keep floats loose.. this pattern does have large annoying floats, but I really liked the font.

I had to reverse engineer the pi to use fewer stitches (17 per wedge), but it came out acceptably. Next time, I’ll do it differently.. but my son still likes it. Too big, of course. Sigh.
