Not made much lately and just fancy messing around with colour and pattern without the complications of shaping.

The cat version pretty well sorted after two versions worked.

Elves not quite there yet but found some cute brass bells that jingle. Second working has two many bells. Started with 3 bands of elves, tried 2 but thinking one band of elves with a sumptuous border on upper hand. Resting project and exploring borders on Indian inspired project.

Indian inspired based on Warren Hastings glove motif. Proportions and thumb placement sorted for less elaborate version. Exploring beads, braid and gold for border embelishment. Unfortunately the einband yellow totally unsuitable and trialing 3 different Isager Spinni yarns.

Spinni #3 turned out to be the best of the three shades trialled. Also triying some golds from euro japan trading as would like something a touch brighter.

Redesign of thumb finish with border strip.

Knitting through Covid

Lost count of mitts made. During the height of lockdown focused on rainbow themed and a few cats and dog mitts.
Coming out of lockdown themed mitts around birthstones.
