Having never really learnt to crochet I signed up for Kim Werker’s Basic and Beyond crochet class on Craftsy. With so much wool in my stash I opted not to buy more for the class blanket project and put my skills to the test with making a granny square scarf.

The class was worth it - good pace, easy to follow and got me hooked on crochet.

As for the scarf - it found a new home and has been admired a few times so not all bad! I am probably one of the few people in the world who does not mind assembling by hand, nevertheless it would be good to explore other joining methods.
