9-16 Got the (Hufflepuff inspired) buttons on and it fits perfectly! The only thing I would change is that I wish I had bound off the button bands tighter as they are a bit wavy when worn :)

I ended up restarting for sizing twice and ultimately ended up knitting the smallest size as my handspun made my gauge a bit off and I do think the vest looks much better with negative ease. I had quite a bit of trouble when I got to where you knit the back and front separately as the cable pattern wasn’t matching up on my sleeves so I had to frog back and decrease differently leaving 52 stitches in the back instead of 50 to get it to match up. While the end result is absolutely smashing I don’t think the pattern was very well written which was frustrating for a paid pattern. That said I’m sure that I will knit it again :)

I knit it a bit longer than called for and I’m coming up with 460 yards used? I will double check yardage next time lol
