10/21/11 trying my hand at this project again after having it in hibernation for about a year. It’s working this time with the help of a little more critical thinking. The problem I was having seemed to come from the wording of the pattern row instructions. I am not sure what finally worked, but once I got past the first repeat, everything was fine. Also, this time around I’m using wood instead of metal needles. Wood seems a better choice for this yarn.

10/25/11 finished! I am very satisfied and feel like I have really accomplished something after having so much trouble with this at first. Once I got going, it was really pretty easy. This neck warmer is warm and soft, but the yarn sheds a lot.
