Notes

Making it larger, so increased needle size. Also am going to change how the front edge finishes. I am thinking of a picot folded edge.

Mistake in pattern on right shoulder stitches; should be: k1, ssk, yo, k6, ssk, yo to last 2 sts, k2.
If you work it as it is written the right shoulder goes straight down, it does not angle in to meet the left shoulder.

With increased needle size, I had to work my fingers to 16”, in seed stitch. Also, as I’m sending it to my grandmother who lives in a nursing home where it will be washed without blocking, I sewing every other intersection of the fingers together to help it stay in its proper shape with a minimal amount of care.

For the edging, I worked 1 row, connecting all the fingers, plus three more in stockinette st, then k1, (yo, k2tog) to last st, yo, k1. Work 3 rows in stockinette st, then fold at yo row and graft live stitches to first edging row (on the back side).
