- Size 8 beads are preferred and encouraged. Solids or tonals, no contrasting, variety packs.
- You must have a picture of your socks after the beading and before doing the stitching,
- NOT to be confused with the one (2nd) with counting/marking thread with markers at every 5 rounds, AND
- a (3rd) picture that shows the detail of branches and beads
- Contestants of Sock Madness 12 need to knit 57 rows after the end of the gusset at a minimum. Use the contrasting waste yarn to indicate the number of rows in sets of 5.
Extra stitches can be added to
Execution:
Cast on needle 2.5mm (Barely wide enough)
Rib knit on 2.0mm
Mods:
+3 rounds of rib, to a total of 18 rounds.
Put on needels for knitting TAAT this way:
---first sock:(16, beg.round marker, 16st)--second sock:(16, beg.round marker, 16st) ---
---first sock:(16, middle chart marker, 16st)--second sock:(16, M.C. marker, 16st) ---
Seem like I constantly go off the count on the duplicate stitch and have to do all the branches twice.
All in all it went well. I’ll need to shorten the toe and graft a new and slightly wider rib as the cast on is to small for my feet.
