Notes

I chose a size just slightly positive as I’m scared on (really) oversized garnments on my bust. (I measure to 42”)
Luckily my stitch count is WAS to gauge. The row count is slightly off, but that’s on unwashed fabric. This merinosilk tend to relax a bit that way.

ETA - I honestly don’t understand what happened during the knit. My gauge have been all over the place before wash and even more after.

Mod:
Added HBDs.
18st from the side
5x with 2st past
and then 3st past. Totally using 23st.
I hope my bent HBDs work out!

(Knit down to the lace hem and added water to se how much it would grow…
It was like adding a nitrogen rich fertillizer. So much that my HBDs relocated down to the area of push-up wires… I do SO have to rip back. Look at the small pin in the one picture to see a 2.5” sag.)

Second time around I left out the HBDs. It turned out they where unnecessary on such a drapy fabric.

Knit to 13.5” before adding the lace. Hung to dry suspended from one clotheshanger through a second one, then with clothespegs from the lace. Worked a treat.

Completed the body with two skeins, but had to add a few meters from the third to trim the neckline.

Final gauge is way off base. But I enjoy the result anyway.
