Notes

I cast on a 38”. That should mostly fit - crossback, shoulders, overbust and hips. I’ll have to see if I have to make acommodations for the décolletage. ;)

It seem to me that the clue of this pattern is to get the motif to fall at the most flattering place on the waist.
Thus - I have to watch my row gauge and my waist length compared to the pattern - and move the motif and decreases/increases as needed for that.

Mods:
Due to a short waist (because the above mentioned…) and a row gauge somewhat off, I skipped the “8 more rounds” between waist decreases and motif. I hope to keep the motif at my natural waist. (Motif started after 11 purl ridges from underarm.)

Started first hip increases on last back motif increasing repeat (4 rounds earlier compared to the pattern). I’ll probably increase every 8th rounds to the hips instead of every 4th. At least I’ll try that. Compared to the bust I have relatively slim hips.

Ended double garther (and increases) after 21 purl ridges from underarm (12.5”). Knit 2x2 rib from this point onwards.

…. and I had to knit the body 3 times before it finally fit AND I had the motif where I wanted. But it payd off.
