I knitted these to test and see whether my Hamnavoe sock pattern could be knit in a double knit weight but inserted the heel slightly earlier. This made the foot about 2cm longer. The guage matched the Shetland Heritage version but this yarn isn’t very hard wearing. Might be good for bed socks. I used 1 ball of each of the following shades : Charcoal, Moorit, Natural White, Mogit, Granite, Eesit & Ivory.
