This was a fun knit, and I love the scarf. I did do fewer increases than suggested for the ruffles, alternating a kfb increase with a kfbf increase.

I tried using the YO technique for short rows. Maybe it was just my poor execution of the method since it was my first time, but it seemed to leave a more obvious hole than the standard short-row wraps. It doesn’t bother me since this is a scarf, but I’m not sure if I’ll use the technique again if I’m doing a garment.

The yarn is lovely, but the purple colorway released so much dye during wet blocking. I did 10 rinses, which is more than I think I’ve ever had to do!

It also grew a lot with blocking, so this is a yarn you’d definitely want to swatch beforehand if you were using it for a garment.
