I’ve decided that Fair Isle / stranded colourwork knitting is my knitting challenge for 2019.

I’m determined to manage two-handed knitting in order to reduce tangling and balance knitting stress on both hands/wrists.

Having learnt to knit according to the Scottish / North-Eastern English technique of lever-knitting (a more fluid kind of ‘throwing’) and then switching to ‘Continental’, this theoretically shouldn’t be too tricky… famous last words

…not impressed with the rounds of single stitches. They look too separate from the pattern but will seek advice from an expert…
