Front turned out too long, will rip it out and go from 148 stitches to 124 stitches. // ended up going down to 110. Oh well. Good enough.

I’m using yarn that’s technically worsted but that doesn’t look good above size 3 or 4 needles, so I’m just knitting it by sight. Also I like the flexibility re sizing of casting on at the body then picking up and doing the neck ribbing, so I cast on 18/30/50/30/18 with provisional crocheted caston.

Doing cable twist every 6 rows. Might throw in some dark blue Dazzle yarn as trim at the end. Consider doing stripes around the area for the buttonholes, plus top and bottom of ribbing at neck sleeves and bottom. (Will have to sew it through for neck and redo bindoff if I do that.)

I added cables in back as well, somewhat in the Vivian sweater manner, and tapered them together.

Picked up 146 stitches for ribbing on the side, k2p2. size 3s. 3 of every 4 stitches. That’s a bit too much; I’d trim that by 10-20 next time.

28th -- just have sleeves left to do. Will do them with a long 4 inch or so rib starting at the elbow; sleeves will be at the long end of 3/4.

Picking up 62 stitches for the sleeves, will reduce to 60. K2p2 ribbing at sleeve on size 1s. 18 cable repeats then the ribbing.
