Notes

I am barely going to get this done with 1800 yards on this yarn. Be careful with yardage if you’re doing this sweater on a small worsted. Had to do it on size 4s (I knit loose) and I’m tall, but still. And the sweater ain’t baggy. ~ ~ Decided to order another skein once the second sleeve seemed to swallow the 2nd to last skein. $20 on the Classic Elite site. Sigh. I would have thought 1800 yards would be plenty.

I visually followed the sweater but (accidentally) did the twists at 4 instead of 6 and did the sleeves top down and knitted out from the body as described later.

Cast on 57 57 37 37 44 232

C = knit, use for cable
M = moss

front KKKK PPPP CCCC MMMM CCCC PP KK MMMM MMMM KK PPPP CCCC MMMM CCCC PPP side.

side PPP CCCC MMMMMM CCCC PPPP KK PPPP CCCC PPPP KK 37 M for 20, then that’s the middle

As with the green Vivian-inspired sweater, will knit bottom up to collarbone, leave live stitches, to provisional caston at shoulder and knit sleeves top down, picking up at armhole edge as I usually do. Then will pick up live provisional caston stitches and knit saddle toward neck, and do hood. I knit all sleeves top down from the body of the sweater to make sure they’re the right width and length and that they taper at the right spots.

Notes: decided to pick up and add rows of moss at front to make sure the stockinette didn’t roll. Next time it would be:

front

MMMM PPP CCCC MMMM CCCC PP
KK MMMM MMMM MMMM KK
PPPP CCCC MMMM CCCC PPPP side.

side PPPP CCCC MMMMMM CCCC PPPP KK PPPP CCCC PPPP KK 37 M for 22, then that’s the middle

Oh dear GOD this took a long time. Phew! Only the zipper left.
