Right after I turned in the wrong-size yoke as a partial homework, I immediately frogged and cast on the 42.5 inch finished size. I also decided to make the sleeves slightly longer. To ensure I have enough yardage, I incorporated a silver grey skein of alpaca/silk in my stash for the cast on, sleeve ribbing edges, and where else I can in the cardigan.

The first sleeve is all set by working twice the number of lace rows. I used the grey for the bottom ribbing cuff and I like the result.

April 23, 2018

I finished the knitting with only 1.5 yards left (2 yards if you count the snipped ends). Blocking took another 2 days because I am picky about how a garment hangs.

I used approximately 1/2 a tube of beads.
