I decided to make not only a colorful sleeve, but also one that can hold 2 pens without having to adjust for width from the pattern. Queue the use of fluffy bulky yarn worked in a needle size that is a millimeter smaller.

My other changes:

• Elevating the last stitch of the pocket private/wrong side so the pocket is not lopsided in height.
• Working the project as one piece, similar to a headband.
