It’s “Storm the Cup” for Slytherin today. I just happened to discover this pattern thanks to the Ravelry Freebies group via their FB page. I am using purple yarn to make a shrunken version of the Knight Bus featured in Harry Potter. I do not have any grey DK yarns, so I will be making this bus a tad larger in Aran and bulky weights.

I realized when I started the main color, I could not only work this pattern in the round, but also use stranded stitching to avoid having to embroider and all those loose ends. While going through my stash of odd buttons, I found a single black button to use as the grill, silver jingle bells (thanks to an awesome swap pal) for the headlights, and additional buttons to use for the tires.

FYI: The bunnies think the bus is a tad bit noisy.
