I should have realized after so many little mishaps that the Lang Yarns Bebe was not the yarn for this shawl so after working the second row, I pulled yarn to cast on another. And out came yarn barf. Here’s hoping all gets better!

In reading how critical the cast on and bind off must be loose for blocking, I used 4.5mm for the cast on and the setup row. 6 charted rows in!

Finally had a chance to sit down and pick up the required number of stitches for the last section. Let’s hope it will be smooth sailing until bind off!

Bind off all done. Final numbers:

1. March Hare has 13g left of 91g --> 78g => 339.3 yd
2. Alpaga has 13.4g left but I cannot find the starting weight
3. STR MW has 116.3g left of 170g --> 53.7g => 127.93 yards
